  2. Dear bnb,pls help me the meaning for Brown rice.is that our same palakadan matta rice or another one.is it so pls do tel me the brand name of brown rice.waiting for your reply.thanking you rose

      Brown rice is the white rice which has brown lines on it. Palakkadan matta is red rice which is healthy too. There are varieties of brown and red rice available from periyar, double horse, nirapara etc. You can use any rice which is not entirely polished but has brown lines on it.
