On weekends, I get up at 6.30 – 7.00 Am or as and when Anshika wakes up. My schedule remains the same , though there is no packing of food dabbas to her daycare.
As I write down this, I am thinking of my mom . Imagine , there were no diapers, wipes, daycares, washing machines or even instant foods then !! But still my Amma brought us up , 3 children managing our educational , financial and every other needs plus house hold chores too. Hats off to you Amma..
I am sure you might be thinking of your mom now.

hi sangeetha,my baby completed 6months now i am still breastfeeding ,can i take lemon-honey warm water for weightloss.
yes ofcourse.. Honey and lemon can be taken by you , no worries …
I know how tough it is since I am in the same boat, but at the same time, it gives me a deep sense of accomplishment at the end of the day!
Aaah yes so true Roshni…
I am considering going back to work, and the main thing bothering me is the logistics of managing my home – cooking, cleaning, laundry along with my blog!! I recently gave up a post because it would keep me away from home for about 12 hours – anyway this will be really helpful for when the time comes 🙂
Hi Fab,
12 hours away from home , its a bit difficult … My case , i go to office at 8.30 AM and is back at 8.30 PM ,these days as my project is critically high. I have to get up early , cook for us , Anshikas daycare , get ready and rush . Evening the same routine . After some days I dare to say that its not working for me working late as I have a daughter whose care is most important to me . Other household chores can be postponed , but our children is most important . If you get a job , make sure you openly speak up about your requirements . If they are OK , join and try to balance both of the spheres. Initially it would be difficult , but slowly things start falling in place.
Hi Sangeetha
Kudos to you for this awesome website. I so so much relate to u as a working mom juggling between work and home. My angel is 8 months now. Just like u, I am still BF her. Now, my office is shifting a bit far away and I cannot come home frequently as I used to. SO, can you tell me how u used to extract BM for your daughter. u used a pump? If yes, which one? Is it good? Till now, I didn’t give a thought to that, since I could come home. But now, I need you advise.
Hi Priya, welcome to Bumps n Baby. For sure I will write a post on expressing BM, storing and feeding it. I use medela mini electric starter pack , which is very good. Will wtite a review on that as well 🙂 Loads of love to your angel..
Oh lord..how am supposed to manage aftera baby..Just thinking of it gave me jitters.Kudos to you for being a superwomen & supermom.

Congrats on having a well set out routine, Sangeetha!! Apparently such routines help kids in having a secure and disciplined childhood. Hats off to you for maintaining everything so well!
Thanks Fab … 🙂
Well this one article made me literally cry as it reminded me of our childhood days and how our mom took care of us to make us what we are today, Thanks for writing it so heart touching article , but i felt it so deeply my sister
Yes etta… amma sacrificed so much for us ..
A tough call it is to be working after you have a baby. I myself am a mother of two and I'm glad I chose to work too. Many a times I do feel guilty, but then this way I'm able to do justice to my desires too. A well-laid out schedule you have. Trouble starts if you plan to have the second one soon. 🙂
Truly said it becomes tougher when we have a second one 🙂 hats off to you for managing house +kids .. Thank for commenting here 🙂
