Grocery Products At Your Front Door – Eemli.com Review & My Experience

As  moms , we always want to give the best for our baby . As a working mom, I indulge in grocery and provision shopping post my office hours or in weekends . Many times I defer my shopping to the next day , next day and so on , as the mere thought of my baby waiting for me at the daycare in the evening makes me rush to her leaving everything 😛 . In short, my shopping including  the long list of ‘must buys’ goes for a toss 🙁

All of a sudden the enlightenment strikes me , I determine to go for shopping whatever comes ; the result ? I get decayed, almost battered fruits & veggies in the evening at the grocery of the super markets. Then the sabji shop near by my house becomes my resort , where in the taai ( as I call my sabjzi waali ) kills me with her super shocker fruits n veggie prices!!

I  was browsing one fine day , that this site caught my attention ; Eemli.com

Quite a funny name for an online grocery store ; I thought . I peeped inside the site & oh my , the whole vegetable and fruit store opened before me ! Fresh , exotic, good variety , decently priced , door delivery and more over offers pouring in on an everyday basis !! What more can this mom ask for??

I ordered for avocados and golden bananas. The parcel arrived on time , but not in full 🙁 . I got golden bananas , but avocados were missing to which the guy told me they have run out of stock and that they would inform me when the fresh batch arrives. Fine better ! They have free home delivery on orders above 300 INR or else additional 50 rupees for home delivery charges.

Alas! My avocados never reached me and I felt disappointed that no messages/ mails were sent to me, indicating the inconvenience. I sent a complaint to the customer care service too, no one responded, a ill disappointment as a customer 🙁

PROS

• Site loaded with surplus vegetables , fruits all over from the world, yes you heard it right, has exotic and imported fruits,veggies and other goods as well
• Clean , fresh packaging with cling wrap
• Prompt delivery on the desired date and timing
• Even dry fruits , homemade chocolates and sweets available
• Offers on an everyday basis
• Site is easily navigable

CONS

• No good response on the customers care grievances especially on the out of stock range
• A bit overly priced than the market rates , but we can ignore this looking at the majority of pros
• Facility available in Mumbai only as of now

My experience : Though I felt disappointed on the ‘out of stock no response’ matter , I felt happy about this venture and keeps recommending this site to everyone who needs fresh fruits and grocery products.

Would I recommend it ? Yes  why not ? If you are a Mumbaikar , this is for you!

 My suggestion to Eemli.com authorities is to improve their customer care service and add all the major metros in their delivery areas, so that many can be benefited out of this site.
