Precautions while giving ginger to your baby

  • Look for allergies

Ginger doesn’t usually cause allergy, but when you are introducing it for the first time, please do look out for any allergic reactions.

  1. Tonight I have blended 2cm of ginger and applied that paste on my Lo feet, then put the socks on and little plastic bag for sandwich over it so that the liquid is not absorbed by the material only. I believe that in a few hours his nose will be unblocked and that tomorrow he will be back to normal.
A few months ago I have done that to myself too, and the cold or a flu dissapeared the very next day. My husband could not believe as he saw how badly I suffered the night before… and now he suggested to me to do the same thing (just in a smaller quantity) to our son.

  2. I actually use ginger vapours combined with Linden tea vapours… the first one fights the cough and the second one is soothing… I used this on myself as an adult inhaling 10-15 minutes this boiling concocte vapours and I was able to get rid of a 3 weeks long cough with heafache.
I appies this with our small babies staring 8 months probably and the effect shoes very fact after a couple a few coughs, after the 10 minutes vapours treatment…
