Daily Schedule Which Helps Me to Multitask

21

One of the questions I face as a working mom is ” How do you do it , like how do you manage your home , baby , job, blog ?? Where is the time for all these ?”. Keeping all these questions in mind ,  I am writing down the daily schedule which helps me to multitask.

Initially when I started multitasking I found it difficult. But then with time everything became easy , easier for me. Of course I cant forget the helping hand of my husband here . He helps me too . When Amma was here , things became pretty much easier for me , I didnt have to think about “Aaj Kya banega ?” as she took care of the entire house. Now that she has gone back , we are back to our normal routine.

Lets see what do I do in a day ?

Daily Schedule Which Helps Me to Multitask

  • 4.00 – 4.30 AM – Wake Up Time

My day starts early :). These hours give me a lot of mee mee time :). I start my day with a glass of warm water with lemon and honey followed by basic routines.

  • 5.00 – 6.45 AM – Blogging

Yes this is the time when I blog

  • 7.00 – 8.00 – Gym/ Workouts

I workout in the gym for an hour or so. Will give a detailed post on my gym workouts too 🙂

  • 8.35 – 9.00 AM – Cooking food for daughter’s daycare and our breakfast

I come back from the gym , take a lil rest and start cooking food for us. Meanwhile hubby gives bath and takes care of Anshika , I prepare her daycare bag and then feeds her breakfast or milk once she is back . My hubby and daughter leave from home and I am off to my bath and getting ready to office.

  • 09:15 AM – 7.00 PM – Office hours

I go to my office by 9.00- 10.00 AM and leaves by 7.00 – 7.30 PM . If I go to office early then I try to leave by 6.00 – 6.30 PM .

  • 6.30 – 7.00 PM – Picks up Anshika from daycare
  • 7.15 – 8.30 PM – Prepares dinner and relishes it with family
  • 8.45 – 9.30 PM – Cleaning Time

Now its cleaning Time !!! Washing dishes , tiffin boxes , cleaning and sweeping, preparing my gym bag and Anshika’s daycare bag for the next day everything happens around this time. Meanwhile hubby helps me by putting out clothes for drying, playing with Anshika and even helps me in cleaning 🙂

  • 9. 45 – 10.00 PM – Family, Book / Internet time

Our chatter batter sessions start at this time discussing about life, job in general.. Of course our daughter’s play/nap time . If my daughter sleeps before this time, I try to read a book a little or surf  the net , replying to mails or reading other blogs

  • 10.30 PM – Sleep

Winding up for the day .

This is the daily schedule which helps me to multitask :). How about you ? How do you manage your everyday activities ?

  8. Hi Sangeetha, very good post. thanks for sharing it with us. I am very much inspired and in awe. Main thing I understand is that you are a planner, which helps. I fail in that area hence I end up being tired at the end of the day with half my house work not finished. Any chance u r posting food chart for 2 year old? Do you still roughly follow the one year food chart for Anshika ? Great Job Sangeetha, God Bless.

    • Yes Reena am a good planner , but a very very bad organizer 🙁 But fortunately hubby is organised in every way :). So we balance . What you can do is jot down a plan as I do and tick off once it s done . You will feel good and motivated.
I am planning to have a post on food chart I follow now for Anshika too 🙂

  9. Dear Sangeetha, This is a great article. I am amazed and very much inspired. I am trying to have some sort of schedule but not getting there, ends up in me being tired and not finished with my work. I understand that it is coz of no proper planning. Do you still roughly follow the one year old food chart for Anshika? planning to post 2 year old? 🙂 Take care and great job..
