Hello friends, I hope everyone is enjoying your winter days. Today I bring to you the winter special homemade hot chocolate recipe.

There’s nothing like warming up with a nice hot drink during chilly weather. I do love just snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, tea and watching TV.

Kids always love chocolates and chocolaty stuffs. Don’t waste your money on those instant chocolate drinks. Commercial instant chocolate drinks often contain extra ingredients like sugar, vegetable oils, corn syrup etc. But no worries you can make your own hot chocolate at home and give them real hot chocolate without feeling guilty.

Hot chocolate and hot cocoa are often confused. Hot cocoa is made from raw cocoa powder which is pressed chocolate with no fat of the cocoa butter. Hot chocolate is made from chocolate bars melted into a cream. A little amount of cocoa powder can be added to prepare hot chocolates.

Notes:
  1. Please make sure that the milk doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
