Spinach Poori or Palak Poori
  • Wheat flour -1 cup
  • Palak / Spinach leaves - 1½ cup packed
  • Oil- 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  1. Boil little water in a sauce pan,add spinach and cook it for 5 mins.
  2. Allow it to cool down and make into a fine paste using blender.
  3. Take flour,salt and oil in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Add in the ground spinach and mix well. Knead it well as you do it for poori dough. No need of adding water.If it's needed add accordingly.
  5. Once done add few drops of oil to prevent drying and keep it closed for 15 min.
  6. After 15 min,divide the dough and roll it.
  7. Cut the rolled dough into shapes with cookie cutter (this step is completely optional.Kids will enjoy their meals if you prepare something creative :-) )
  8. Heat oil for deep frying and fry those rolled dough.
