Thari Kanji / Rava Kanji / Rava Porridge for Babies

Ingredients
  • Rava – 1 cup dry roasted or roasted in ghee
  • Sugar – 2 to 3 tsp.
  • Boiled Milk – 1 cup
  • Dry fruits – 1 tbsp of whole mixed raisins and cashews roasted in ghee or powdered
Instructions
  1. Cook rava in milk until its well cooked without lumps
  2. Add sugar and continue stirring
  3. Once the mixture starts to reduce , put the heat on medium and garnish with powdered or whole dry fruits
Notes
1. Instead of sugar, you can opt for jaggery

2. You can also make this porridge with any fruits purees like banana, carrot, chikoo etc.

3. If you baby is less than 1 year old , you can make this in plain water (instead of cow's milk) sweetened with fruit purees.
