Aloo Paratha Recipe for Babies, Toddlers and Kids

Ingredients
  • For potato filling
  • Boiled potatoes- 3
  • Chopped onions- 1
  • Green peas- ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tea spoon
  • Chopped green chilies- 2
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Sugar- as per taste
  • Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice- 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat flour- to roll the parathas
  • For the parathas
  • Wheat flour- 1 cup
  • Water- required amount to knead the dough
  • Salt as per taste
Instructions
  1. Knead the dough using the ingredients mentioned under parathas in the consistency required to make chapatis.
  2. For the potato filling, heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste, green peas, green chilies and onions.
  3. Fry for few minutes or till onions turn translucent.
  4. Add the mashed potatoes and add salt, sugar, coriander powder. Mix the ingredients properly.
  5. Turn off the flame and add lemon juice. Potato filling is ready.
  6. Roll a thick chapati using dough.
  7. Place a spoonful of filling over the chapati and seal the chapati with hands making a ball.
  8. Roll out the paratha (you can use wheat flour to dust and prevent it from sticking) and fry them.
  9. Soft, tasty and mouthwatering aloo parathas are ready. Serve with curd or tomato ketchup.
