Aloo Paratha Recipe for Babies, Toddlers and Kids

- For potato filling
- Boiled potatoes- 3
- Chopped onions- 1
- Green peas- ½ cup
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tea spoon
- Chopped green chilies- 2
- Salt- as per taste
- Sugar- as per taste
- Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice- 1 teaspoon
- Wheat flour- to roll the parathas
- For the parathas
- Wheat flour- 1 cup
- Water- required amount to knead the dough
- Salt as per taste
- Knead the dough using the ingredients mentioned under parathas in the consistency required to make chapatis.
- For the potato filling, heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste, green peas, green chilies and onions.
- Fry for few minutes or till onions turn translucent.
- Add the mashed potatoes and add salt, sugar, coriander powder. Mix the ingredients properly.
- Turn off the flame and add lemon juice. Potato filling is ready.
- Roll a thick chapati using dough.
- Place a spoonful of filling over the chapati and seal the chapati with hands making a ball.
- Roll out the paratha (you can use wheat flour to dust and prevent it from sticking) and fry them.
- Soft, tasty and mouthwatering aloo parathas are ready. Serve with curd or tomato ketchup.
